Since I
was staying at the Hyatt Olive 8 it was convenient for me to have a meal there.
I will not be returning to eat there, nor will I be recommending it to others.
Service staff was very pleasant. Ambiance was nice. Food was okay. I wasn't
starving so I ordered the lobster mac & cheese. Yes, it was under small plates,
and it was small, yes it was $24, no it was not great. Maybe it was just a
personal preference, but I felt that the gemelli pasta was a poor choice for
this the dish. Noodles were stiff and there wasn't a lot of lobster. When it
came to dessert, they were out of some of the ice cream flavors that were
listed and they were also out of the Blackberry & Pistachio dessert. I
settled for the Salted Caramel Hazelnut Mousse. It was quite small but very
filling. Nothing extraordinary and nothing I will be thinking about next time
I'm hungry in Seattle. Watch out for the mandatory service charge.
